The monthly meeting of tha , Sumner School Committee was held on Friday evening. Present—Messrs Limey, Phillips, Rollitt, R6weli, and Senior. A letter was read from Mr Hartle, resigning the chairmanship and membership of tbe committee, owing to leaving the dustricfc. A resolution waa passed expressing regret., and thanks for Mr Hartte's work in the past. Mr Rollitt was elected chairman, and "Mr Wheeler . was ele<st<_ to the vao_ley on the comI mittee.
