NAPIER, June 7. .At a meeting of the committee of the Hawke'a Bay Jockey Club, held to-day, it wae resolved to recommend to the JtUcix-g Conference certain alterations to the Rnlea ol Racing with respect to the minimum distance for hurdle racoe, the declaration of overy e'ght,.- and the disqualification of appren.•ce« : for breach of agreement, etc Captain Ltusell and the Hon. J. D. Ormond were appointed representatives at the Conference.
