..-.The half-yearly meeting of'the Hope of St. Albans Lodge was held in the lod<*e room, St. Albans Lane, Bro. A. A. Vincent presiding. The balance sheet showed that tbe funds had advanced by £50 during the .term, and the audited balance noAv stood at £1500. The officers elected for tho ensuing term Avere duly installed by D.P. Bro. JoAvsey, assisted by D.G.G. Bro. H. E. Smith, as Mloaa's:—A.D., Bro. L H. Bernard; V.A.. Bro. W. G. C. Beumelburg; secretary, Bro. G. Walker; treasurer, Bro. W. A. Javell"; J.G., Bro. J. Cotton; 0.1., Tiro. A. E. Thcmas; A.D Bards, Bio. E. J. O. Chamberlain and W. -G. " Thomas;"V".A. Bards, Bros. .J. Buchanan, and V. S. Harris; M.S., Bro. W. Newton: Benevolent Fund Committee, Bros. -W. Hurley and J. J. Hunter. Brcs. A. A. Vincuit and J. Dixey were appointed to tho Hall Committee. It was decided to hold a progressive euchre match at an early date. ■ Other routine business Avas also transacted.
