United Press Association—Ey Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 18th, 11.9 p.m.) LONDON, January 18. The second-class cruiser Sybille, is ashore at Saldanha Bay, Cape Colony. The crew were saved. (The HybilU- is of 5400 tons displacement, 9496 indicated horse-power, and the following dimensions: Length, 300 ft; beam, 42ft; draught, 16ft 6in. She was built in 18S0, at a cost of £174,670. The Sybille's armament consists of two 6in quiclT-iirers, six 4.7 in guns, eight 6-pounders, one 3pounder, four Maxims, and one light gun. She carries 27S men.)
