THE CAPE CABLE.
United Press Asaociation—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 12th, 12.19 a. in.) SYDNEY, January 11. Sir Wm. Lyne has instructed the AgentGeneral to sign the agreement with tlie Eastern Extension Cable Company for the Cape Cable. It provides for the reduction of rates from February Ist to 3s 6d per word for ordinary messages, 2s 6d for Government messages, and Is 4d for Press mes-sages.
