A FORGOTTEN CHRISTMAS.

One unfortunate result of the division of the boys and girls at Burnham, has be-_n that the new institution at Burwood, containing ten girls, being comparatively unknown, has received no public donation for a Christmas treat. The number of inmates is under twenty, and it is hoped that Christchurch people may supply funds enough to give these a day at Sumner during the holidays. Subscriptions will be gratefully received by Mrs Guise or Mrs Black, members of the Burnham Board of Advice.
