THE JUBILEE EXHIBITION.
At a meeting of the Workers' Exhibits Committee the Chairman. Mr G. H. Elliott, presiding, was reported that the ratmber of entries for the competitions to date was satisfactory, and that the last date for receiving entries had been extended to Saturday next. 6th inst. A few modifications were made in the list of judges. An application was received from Mr Mazey to run his exhibit as a side show. The Committee decided that it could not be taken except as an ordinary working exhibit. It was resolved that where masters' associations or workmen's unions fail to appoint judges for inside competitions, the judges of the outside competitions be asked to act. The Home Industries Committee met Mr Minson in the chair—«nd elected th© judges nominated by the Sub-Committee. A strong Committee was appointed to receive and arrange exhibits. The time for receiving entries for kindergarten exhibits was extended to Saturday. 6th October, and the time for receiving the exhibits till the 25th October.
