OPERA HOUSE.
There was a change of programme on Saturday night at the Opera House in continuation of the pokey of the management to make a weekly change. In tbe first part Mi» Lulu Zesch sang a ballad "Springtime" veiy weH, and was encored. 'Miss Ida Rodyn also sang and gave c coon song in the second part. Sbe was very good in the dance following the song. Tshe Stounton Sisters also danced well, and Mr Howard sang; a banI tone song, "Irishmen must be there," with a good deal of force, but the success of the item was considerably lessened by fine tremolo effect iDtroduoed Mr Hugo's comic song waa encored. Tbe finale to the part caused considerable amusement. In tb« second part "Pedra" dad some good work on the flying rings, and Ethel again eSoited loud appkuse by her clever contortion act. Mr Bain was evidently so satisfied with tbe popularity of has song budget, that he ddd not change it, and it went quite as successfully as before. Lazern in- \ troduoed several clever card tricks into his | tarn, his exposition of different styles of card shuffles being cleverly done. It is possible to have too much even of a good thing, and the demonstrative admirers of Messrs McKisaon and Kearns would do well to remember this. No doubt performers appreciate encores, but three or four recalls for the act wihich these do, is apt to became monotonous. Th« company appear again to-night, and fox tb-nxrrow it is announced that the Giant Marionettes, the Elmore Sisters, Trdxie Lβ Mar, and 2£r Jack Steel, a wrfadstiing comedian, will make theisr appearance. ____
