The Fuller Bijou Company had a good attendance la_?t night at the Oddfellows' Hall, when the various items on the programme were well received. It will be repeated to-night, and it is announced that Mr Will Watkins will shortly re-a.ppear.

The Dix Variety Company had a large audience at the Opera House last night, when Uhe programme went excellently throughout. It is satisfactory to note that the management have taken the hint o_j to tha length of tho programme, and curtailed it by the omission of the farce at the end, wh'h the result that the performance concluded in excellent time. Mi* Bain, whom the patrons of the Company will be sorry to lose, created great amusement in his turns,' Misa Ida Rosslyn, Miss Lulu Zesch, the Staunton Sisters. Little Ethel, and Lazern, together with the other members of the Company, received full appreciation from the audience. To-night tite Company again appear, and to-morrow evening will be the last of the present programme, a change taking place on Saturday night. Several new artists are announced to appear next week. *

The. exhibition of Messrs Cooper and McDermott's kinematograph pictures *la_r night. at tlie Theatre Royal was largely attended, and the various views of war scenes were loudly applauded. This afternoon there will be a matinee at three o'clock, and in the evening the final performance will be given.
