MEETINGS, ENTERTAINMENTS, &c.
There was a good attendance last night at the performance of Fuller's Vaudeville _ompany, despite the bad weather. The programme went excellent!y from first to last. It will be repeated to-night. The wet weather notwithstanding, there was a large atteri_a_c_ at the Art Gallery last night, when the final concert was given before the close of the Exhibition. The musical programme was in the hands of Mrs Bowman Fox, a lady new to Christcburch, who played two pianoforte selections, and is "evidently a musician of considerable talent. Miss Maud Graham sang several songs with great taste and feeling, her rich vcdce quite filling the Gallery. Mr A. MiHap was also in fine voice, and sang with much success.
The annual parish gathering at Teddington was held on Monday. The attendance was large. Sports were provided for adults and children, and a cricket match between teams from Governor's Bay and Teddington was won by Teddington. The Lyttelton Brass Band played an excellent programme. .The ladies of the district hospitably entertained the visitors at dinner and tea.
