Tbe Sydenham Borough Council met at 7 p.m. Present—The retiring Mayor, Mr J. Hadfield, the Mayor-elect, Mr B. P. Manhire, and Crs. Day, Sims, Meikleham, Tay- , lor, Smith, Forrester and Jones. . The Canterbury section of the Medical Association wrote, forwarding a resolution, asking that the by-laws in respect to contagious diseases should be enforced, and spe- . cial vehicles used for conveying patients to the Hospital.
