THE SAMOAN QUESTION.
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, October 19. The German Press is clamouring for the immediate settlement of the Samoan question. The German Colonial s Council, replying to Herr Yon Bulow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, considered it advantageous for Germany to abandon Samoa, in return for a concession elsewhere. Herr Yon Bulow differed from this view. LONDON, October 19. Reports from Washington state _hat no progress has been made towards the ultimate settlement of the Samoan question.
