TO THE KDITOR Ot THE PR-SB. Sir, —I hear Kruger has returned Rhodes's lion with the following couplet: — Take back the Lion thou gayest. What are its gambols to mc? Of all the concessions thou cravest, None shall be granted to thee. I suggest as England's reply: — Take back the Treaty thou bleakest Now, dare your burghers fight —_? Of all the white serfs thou cravest, None shall pay tribute to thee. —-Yours, etc, , W. ACTON-ADAMS. Culverden train, 19th October, 1899.
