PERSONAL ITEMS.
The Hon. Dr. Grace and Mrs Grace went North by the steamer Te Anau last night.
Major and Mrs Richards returned from Europe yesterday. They were passengers from Melbourne by the Mokoia.
Dr. King left for Wellington by the Te Anau. ~ Dr. and Mrs Murray, of Kaiapoi, were passengers per express to Dunedin yesterday. Dr. Feoks, Wellington, arrived from the South by the express last night. Mr J. F. Cooper, O-maru, was also a passenger. Mr Em„ Sander, Sydney, arrived in town yesterday. Mr W. Mime, Oamaru, left for tße North; by last night's steamer. Mr C. Louisson, Mayor of Ohristchpoh, was a passenger for Wellington by last night's steamer.
Messrs G. M'Cl-tohie, E. Roberts, and R. Hay left for tbe South by the express yesterday morning. Mr Radcliffe (Mayor of Lyttelton) and Mrs Radcliffe, left by the steamer Te Anau for Wellington last night. Colonel Francis and Captain Snow went by the same steamer.
