LYTTELTON.
Wednesday, October 18----(Before W. Cook, Esq., J.P.) Absent Without Leave. — Charles Lebatch, Michael Kelly, Alex. Ziegler, John Gallagher,"and William Kirk, were charged with being absent without leave from the steamer Tolosa; Mr Nalder appeared for Captain Seaborne, and reminded the Bench that there had- been considerable trouble with the Tolosa's men -in Wellington. The accused, except Kirk, had been very troublesome. The Bench sentenced the men to a week's imprisonment, to be put on board when > the steamer sails. The first three men were charged with being drunk, and on this charge were convicted and discharged. REFtsiNG to Obey Orders.—Carl Enchea was charged with refusing to obey lawful orders, on the steamer Waimate. Reginald Moorhouse, the chief officer, proved the offence, and the accused was sent to gaol for a wee£, to be put on board when the steamer sails. . ,
