«l THE DUNEDIN CLUB. (PRKSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, February 11. The nineteenth annual meeting of tihe Dunedin Cycling Club was held to-day at the Caledonian Ground. The weather was fine, and there was a large attendance. The Two Mile Cash Championship of Otago did not come off, all the competitors having scratched themselves. The general impression was that their reason for doing so was that no cash prize* were offered, ffcesuits: — One Mile Bicycle Handicap (Second Claae) — H. liyon, Kangitikei, syds, 1; F.,C. The competitors raced in two bunches throughout, McJlulian leading those in the van, and Tierney, Sutherland, and Middleton composing the rear squad. Half a mile from heme Middleton spurted, and caught McMullan • in the straight, a dingdong race resulting in a verdict by the judges of a dead heat, but a great many held the opinion that McMullan won by half a wheel.
