THE ELDERSLIE ESTATE.
The "Oamaru Mail" lias good authority for stating tliat the Government have decided to take the Elderslie estate, minus the part reserved by Mr Reid, at the owner's amended offer of the land at £7 per acre. Possession will be given on the Ist April. ISOO, and before then all the preliminaries will be taken to admit the new settlers immediately thereafter.
