LITTLE RIVER.
The Little River Road Board met on the 6th inst. Present—Messrs H. D. Buchanan (chairman), H. White, J. C. C. Gebbie, John Parkinson, and Jas. Coop. The Canterbury College Board of Governors wrote relative to deviations on the road leading through E.R. 157. Mr White was authorised to wait on the Co"lege authorities relative to this matter. Mr F. A. Anson, asking for a survey of Peraki Valley road, with a view of pointing out deviations made by the Board to improvo the gradient, so that titles could L be given to the.land taken and given by the Board. The Clerk was authorised- to attend to s this mattef.''lt'was decided -that notice: .jshould .-.tie* given to the owner and.occupiers of the land abutting on the streams at-Little River to-remove willows or Other obstructions; that the necessary tender for bridge repairs De obtained • that Osborne's road dcrmation be left *in the hands of, the Clerk ; and that some repairs be effected on Main road by way -of metal blinding; and Wit part of Kaituna river be cleaned*of bullrushes.
