THE LIBERAL LEADERSHIP.
LONDON, February 7. A meeting of the Liberal Party to consider the appointment of a successor to Sir Win. Harcourt, was bald at tite Reform Club. A resolution was passed expressing continued confidence in Sir Wm. Harcourt, and regretting his retirement. Sir Henry Campboll-Bannerman was unanimously elected leader of the party in succession to Sir Wm. Harcourt. Sir H. Campbell-Benner-man, in returning thanks, promised to offer vigorous opposition to the Government.
