Two young ladie3 occupied the Press box at the Magistrate's Court in Dunedin during the hearing of the old age pension claims, and busied themselves in taking notes of the proceedings (says the "Otago Daily Times"). The Magistrate, however, did not appear to be atware of their purpose in court, and inquired if they had any'application to bring before him. The fair scribes seemed somewhat disconcerted at hearing themselves addressed by hia Worship, and blushingly replied.
