It was resolved that the best thanks of the committee be conveyed to Mr and the Misses Baldwin for the very satisfactory arrangements in connection with the camp, and to the residents of Governor's Bay for their kindness to tne boys. The vote of tne committee was giver to Messrs Adams, Peryman, and Weston, for the Board of Education. It was decided to recommend Misses Caygill and Peebles a? pupil teachers. Mr Fred. Foley gave his entertainment of magic, mirth, and ventriloquism at Southbrock on Monday night, and was greeted with"' a full house. His sleight of hand tricks, his ventriloquial shadowgraph and musical items were well received. The fortnightCv meeting of tne Juvenile Anchor Lodge of Druids was held on Wednesday evening, A.D. Bro. Rosewarne in the chair. One candidate was initiated into the I Order, Bro. Rosewarne, assisted- by the P.A.,.conducting the ceremony. Games of draughts, cards, &c, were played, and songs sung by Bros. Moses, Fraser, Treworn, 1 Rhodes, and Rosewarne. The receipts were £9 10s Ojd. Arrangements for the forth- I coming social and dance were made. I The talented Corrick Family, assisted by | the popular tenor, Mr C. Read, gave a veryenjoyable concert on Thursday evening Last. in Hawker's Hall, New Brighton, in aid oi lhe local Presbyterian Church.
