Mr and Mrs Murphy returned to Lyttelton by the Rotomahana yesterday.

His Honour Judge Ward arrived"'by the express last night. Mr A. R. Bloxam. and Mr R. Moore, M.H.R., came by the same train. - Mr F. E. Wright was a passenger Jjy the Rotomahana for Wellington last night. Mr and Mrs H. Gray left by the express yesterday. Mr and Mrs A. McGeorge and Mr and Mrs Knox left yesterday for the West Coast. Air R. Hay and'Mr A. L. Smith were among the passengers who went South by the principal train yesterday. Among the passengers who arrived by the express last night were Mr J. B. Littlejohn, -lr and Mrs J. -Duthie, jun., and Mr J. M. Wilkinson (of Sydney;. Mr D. Cameron, of Springfield, came to town by the morning tram yesterday. Mr W. H. Collins, cf Ashburton, was a passenger by the same train.
Miss Scott, who has-been on a visit, to Ashburton, returned to Rangiora yesterday.
