THE CUSTOM OF "SHOUTING."
TO THE EDITOR OF THE rRESS. Sir,—When perusing the "Pross" of today's data 1 noted that has Honour Judge Kettle vontured the opinion that it was a pity some legislation could not be devised to put a stop to the colonial practice of "shouting." As a tourist in your islands I am astonished to hear you have anything left to "put a stop to." You might, perhaps, ring the "Curfew Bell." and I am assured that is only a question of time. His Honour undoubtedly "takes tha Kettle." Yours, _c, A STRANGER.
