ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Mr Geo. Ashley, carrier, and a well-res-pected resident of Kaiapoi, died suddenly o_ Sunday morning from spasms of the heart, from which he had previously 1 suffered, ana an inquest was dispensed with. He leaven a wife and large family. ' At an inquest on an asylum patient, held on Friday, a verdict of death from exhaustion following 'on acute mania was brought in. An inquest was also held on another patient, who died on Thursday, and a verdict of death from gangrene following phthisis was returned. ' .. .'
