AUCKLAN D., February 6. The following further awards have beet, made in connection with the Auckland Exhibition : —
Hams and —aeon —liolls of Bacon: T. H Hall and Co., iirst award; Partners' Cooperative Association iChristchurehi, second Hams: T. li. Hall and Co., first award; k! P. Lewis second; -Farmers'* Cooperative Association, third. Sides oi bacon; T. H. Hall' and Co., and it. F. Lewis g_ aa '. burton), equal award of merit.; Farmers" Cooperative Association, second.
Sewing Machines—Singer Manufacturing Company, first award, also special award for art work done by the machine in the judge's presence. Messrs W. Dennis und Sons withdrew thoir exhibit from competition.
Ammunition—Colonial Ammunition Company, Ltd. (.Auckland), awarded first prize and gold medal. Blasting fysoe—Patent safety blasting fusee lor tiring explosive charges under all conditions (.manufactured by Messrs Bennett and Sons, Camborne, England): John Burns und Co., Auckland. Tho -efenco Department, Government of New Zealand, obtained tho highest award for-guns and ammunition, smalt arms aud ammunition, submarine mining test and firing room, aud the Whitehead torpedo.
