WELLINGTON, February 6. William Aldridte, who was undergoing sentence for burglary at Masterton, escaped from Mount Cook gaol to-day. He wus seen f . on the hills in the afternoon, .partly disguised iv a sugar bag. Twelve constables are out on the lulls searching for him.
