GRAND LODGE OF DRUIDS.

AUCKLAND, February 6. The annual meeting of tbe District Grand Lodge of Druids was commenced this morning, the President. Bro. Purnell, in the chair. Correspondence in reference to the fund due to the Grand Lodge from the Grand Lodge of Victoria was read, also opinions from solicitors. It was stated that a compromise had been effected, and that the sum of £119 was still due. The action of the Executive in the matter was confirmed. A letter from the Registrar of Friendly Societies in regard to the establishment of women's lodges evoked a long discussion. The sum of £2 2s was voted to the Grey Memorial Committee Fund. The report of the Board of Management was adopted. The President regretted that no new lodges had been formed during the past year.
