OTHER MATCHES.
The match between Albion and Rivals, played at Sydenham Park on Saturday, was won by the Aloion team by 100 runs. Albion 127 for eight wickets (Treloar 39 not out, G. Gray 31, Butler 15, Westou 13, Henwood 10); Rivals 27. Cropp bowled best for Rivals, and for the Albion Forsyth took four wickets for 1 run, Weston three for 7, and Nelson three for 10. This match decided the "Outside Competition," the Albion team winning with an unbeaten record.
The match between the Addington Methodists and the Albion '"ZT team, resulted in a win for the Albion by 91 runs. Scores: — Methodists 44 (Woir 12, Yates 10); Albion 131 (Hunter 30, Cheston 20, Craddock 18, Watkins 17, Candlish 15, H. Gray 10). Cheston and Paterson for Albion and Bowden for Methodists, Bowled well.
