THE VOLUNTEERS.
On Thursday the Cycle Corp3 went through their volley and independent firing, and otit of twenty-seven members twentyfive were present. The corps was in charge of Lieutenant Finois, and LieutenantColoael Gordon superintended the firing. Twenty men fired, and averaged. 10.65 in the volley, and 18.85 in independent fixing. The Waknate Volunteers have been in camp this week. The E Battery co into camp to-day near the Heathcote bridge. The Queen's Cadets will be "at home" at their New Brighton camp tomorrow. The Garrison Band wil be in attendance. A daylight parade of the Engineer volunteers will be held this afternoon.
