WOOL SALES.

DUNEDIN, February 3.
The third of the series of wool sales was held to-day. Nearly 9000 bales was catalogued, and it was late at night before the sales were concluded. Compared with last sales fine halfbreds and merinos showed an advance from par to _d, super crossbreds par to id advance. Bright showy crossbreds and faulty halfbreds wore unchanged, while coarse and faulty crossbreds were par to _d less. Pieces and locks ruled about the same. _
