BAD FOR THE LARRIKINS.

Some larrikins had proof one Sunday evening of the physical force of the Rev. R. S. Carson, of the United Methodist Free Church, Golden Gully, Victoria. During a service which Mr Carson was conducting (says the " Australasian") they so disturbed the congregation that he' asked them to desist. On their refusal, he ordered them to leave the church, or he would put them out. This threat being met with derision, and remarks of " Good enough," "Go it, boss," Mr Carson informed the congregation that he had an unpleasant duty to perform, left the pulpit, made straight for the leader of the disturbers, gave him the choice of being quiet or of being expelled, and the former alternative being rejected, ignominiously " pitched him out.'' Then returning to the pulpit, the athletio minister told his congregation that he worked for hiß flock with all his mind and heart, and when called upon was prepared to exert his physical powers to defend the saoredness of the church. There were no more interruptions. •
