Draught and bottling alee and Btout— Running ale —First award and special, Campbell and Ehrenfried Co., Limited; secoud award, S. Manning and Co, (Chiistchurch); highly commended, Great Northern Biewery Co., Limited. Pale bitter aleFirst award, J. Paul, New Plymouth; no other exhibits. XXX ale—-First award, S. Mannipg and Co.. Christchurch ; no ether exhibits. XXXX ale—First award, Campbell and Ehrenfried Co., Limited; second, S. Manning and Co., Christchurch; highly commended, Great Northern BreweryBottled award, Campbell and Ehrenfried Co. ; second. Great Northern Brewery Co.; highly commended, S. Manning and Co., Christchurch. Draught stout —First award, Campbell and Ehrenfried Co. ; second award, S. Manning and Co. ; highly commended, Great Northern B ewery. Bottled stout—First award, S. Manning and Co.; second, Hipkins and Coutts (for W. J. Speight, Dunedin). The judges expressed the opinion that the exhibit of draught ale of the Campbell and Ehrenfried Co. merited special recognition for its excellence. Wine and Cider —Sparkling cider—first award, Fletcher, Humphreys and Co., (Jhristchurch; second, H. Mouldy, Kawakawa. Bulk cider—No award. £gln aerated waters and cordials there were no swards save to local firms.
