LAWN TENNIS.
A match was played on Wednesday on Mr Robert Colthart's private court, at his farm, Roccombe, Sheffield, between the team from the New Brighton Club who are visiting the district and a team of the Colthart family, assisted by Mr T. Seay. The local men proved rather too good for the visitors, and a most enjoyable day's pk+y resulted in Roecombe winning 82 games against New Brighton's 71. The visitors were most hospitably entertained by Mr Ceithart. The following are the scores: —
