The following are the latest quotations :— Alpine 7s, 8s; Big River 7s, 8s; Buller Dredge 10s, 1 ls; Boatman's Exploration 6d, 9d; Cumberland ls, ls 3d ; Dillon ls, ls 3d ; Golden Lead 6d, 9d ; Keep-it-Dark 255, 265; No. 2 Dark Bd, lOd ; Kirwan's Reward 4s, 5s ; Progress Mines 24s 6d, 25s 6d; Welcome 2s 9d, 3s; Electric Light 9d, ls. The Buller Dredge Company ban obtained 18oz lldwt for about 8 days' work, and the Alpine Extended Company 120_oz amalgam from 225 tons.
