(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
DUNEDIN, March 22. A painfully sudden death occurred in the exhibition buildings to-day. David M. Logan, well-known as a customs officer and a lieutenant in the Naval Artillery, took a violin to be shown in the exhibition. Meeting a friend who asked about his health, he paid he felt "as right as the mail," but on entering the Early History Court, he sat down, gave three gasps, and expired. He was a married man with a family, and his wife is on her way to town to take part in the festivities.
