Saturday, March 19. (Before S. R. Webb, Esq., J.P.) Drunkenness.—A first offender was convicted and discharged. Monday, March 21. (Before A. Chalmers and S. R. Webb, Esq., J.P.'e). Brrach of the Peace.—C. A. Bryant and James Webb, a seaman on the lonic, were charged with fighting, the former was fined 10s and costs, the latter was convicted and discharged. Throwing Stones.—George Campbell, eight years, was charged with injuring a little girl by throwing atones at her. His parents having already punished the boy, he was discharged. Cruelty to a Horse.—George Dimond, as owner, and Thomas Wishart, as driver, were charged with cruelty to a hcrse by working him with a sore back. The case against the former was dismissed, the evidence showing that he did not know the horse had a sore back. Wishart was fined 10s and costs.
