linger, G.M., Captain of the Petone Rifle Club, tied, and the firing off the tie b*w gome splendid shooting. Mr W. H. Bellinger's tie shot« at 700 yds were as follows—s, 5, 5, 5, 4, and Private Ballinger made 4, 4, 5, 4. 6. The two brothers hive now two wins in, each for the Belt, and should cither of them win it once more it become* his own property. The aggregate ftcore last year was 565 points, a far better record than has been secured this year. A few of the Volunteers who were competitors at the Oamaru meeting, and did not git into the championship liat, returned from that town last night.
