CANTERBURY RUGBY UNION.
The nineteenth annual report of this Union to be presented next Saturday night opens with, an expression_of .regret that in the three mterprovinc__" matches played during the season Canterbury was defeated. The committee recommend that the matches with the Ellesmere and North Canterbury districts be continued, considering them a beneficial' means of discovering probable country representatives in iriterprovincial teams. The report states that .the Otago and Southland games will this year be played in Christchurch, and that the Canterbury representative team will tour the North Island.
