(PRESS ASSOCIATION TBLKO&AV.) DUNEDIN, January 26. Wheat-rßusioess was limited in old wheat, but prices remain firm at late quotations. There have been inquiries for whole chick wheat, and ealee have been made op to 3s 8d for beet. Quotation*— Prime Tuscan and red sorU 4s 4d to 4e 4Jd, medium to good 4s 2d to 4a 3d, fair to medium 4s Id to 4a l£d, good prime velvet 4s 6d to 4s Bd, extra prime %& more. Chick wheat—3s to 3s 7£d per bushel (sacks in). Oats—The market -etill has an upward tendency, and, although the bulk of business during the week has been fairly lafge ; T»rice* again advanced id per bushel, and prime feeding, to-day were worth 2sO£d to 2a Id. Quotations—Good to beet feed 2e to 2s Id, fair to medium Iβ lid to 1« Hid, discoloured and inferior Is 8d to Is 10£ d, beat milling & 2d to 2s 3d, sacks extra. Barley—Prices remain firm at late quotations, but the quantity changing hand* is email, maltsters and others holding off until the new crop is on the market. Malting 4s 2d to 4s 4d, extra prime up to 4s 7d, gooa 3e<edto4sld, medium 33 4d to 3s Bd, feed and. milling 2s 9d to 3a 6d.
