Prese Association— By Telegraph—Copyright London, September 15. Shares—National Bank of New Zealand, £2; Bank oi New Zealand 4 per cent, guaranteed stock 104$; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company 4 per cent, prior lien debentures 95. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,020,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,510,000 quarters. Tallow—Quotations are unchanged. Silver, 2s per oz. The American visible supply of wheat is estimated at 1,978,000 bushels. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message dated London, 15th September :— " Tallow — Market quieter. New Zealand mutton and good beef are worth respectively 20s and 19s per cwt. (Last quotations were 19s 6d and 18s 6d respectively.)" Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date 15th instant :—
" Tallow market steady, without change in prices."
• (PRTCSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, September 16. A cable message from the Agent-General states that butter is 100s per cwt, the market being very dull; cheese 465, market steady.
