Napier, August 23. A match between the Woodville and Mangatainoko Cluba was played at Woodville on Saturday and resulted in a draw, Bivnie scoring a try for Mangatainoko and Caton registering a similar score for Woodville. In the evening a meeting of the Bush Union was held. In reply to » letter from the Marlborough Union, it. was decided that the Bush Union was unab'lo to send a team to Blenheim this year. A letter from the Waipawa Union stating their inability to send a team to play a match against the Bush Union was read. A protest by the Woodville Club against the Pahiatua Club for playing a man named Murphy, who had
not been a resident in the district fbr required six weeks, was held over for fartjT* information.
