KAIPARA HARBOUR.
(PRE 33 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM )
Wkllington, August 27. Captain Allman, Nautical Adviser to the Government, has been instructed to proceed to Kalpara and report as to whether there is any necessity, as alleged, for the shifting of the harbour beacons. The Marine Department has been informed that Of late the channel has altered, and that, consequently, the beacons are misleading to mariners.
