TO THE EDITOR OF THE PBESS.
Sir, —In answer to Chas. Porters letter in this morning's issue, wherein he appeals to the public of Chriatchnrch to contribute towards the wife and family of the late George Wright, who met with each a sudden death while on his way to work, I think it would be a ncble action and our duty to try and help the bereaved ones. I think it would b» • *ood ■oggestioa to try tad r»i*#
a concert for them, seeing how well these things are patronised in Chmtchurch. Hoping some others will take this matter up,—Youre, &c,
James Wooler, Christchurcli.
