Brisbane, August 24. A terrible tragedy is reported from Glenore, near Nori_.a_.ton. Mr McDonald, a well-known resident, who had been in financial difficulties, cut a vein in his wife's arm and the woman bled to death. McDonald then attempted to blow out his brains by means of dynamite. The fuze was too short and his hand was blown oft. The desperate man, with the other hand, cut his throat with a razor, killing himself.
