HEAVY WEATHER.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
AUCKLAND, August 24.
The- Indraghiri, on her passage from Sydney, when about sixty miles from Port Jackson Heads, ran into a heavy southerly gale. The sea which accompanied the gale is described by Captain Firth, commander of the stean-er, as the most fearful he has ever experienced while making tho passage between Sydney and Auckland. For twelve hours the steamer was run before tho gale, which continued for three days. The Anglian, from Sydney, reported similar weather to that experienced by the Indraghiri.
