SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
Auckland, August 21. Arrived—Last night, Golden Rod, barque, from New York; 6 a.m., to-day, Taviuni, from the Islands.
Sailed—6 a.m., Tongariro, for Lytteiton. August 22. The Gairloch, on her passage from New Plymouth to Auckland, lost her starboard propeller, arriving at Onehunga at five o'clock on Saturday evening. It is stated that she will leave for the South on Monday as usual.
Wellington, August 21. Arrived—Early this morning, the Vancouver liner Warrimoo, from Sydney. She left for Vancouver in the afternoon. In addition to a large number of passengers landed here she has forty booked for Vancouver : - Mawhera, from Nelson and the West Coast; Mahinapua, from Taranaki and Nelson.
Sailed—Warrimoo, for Vancouver via Fiji and Honolulu ; Rotokino and Corinna for the South.
August 22. Arrived—Te Anau, from the South ; Rotorua, from Picion and Nelson; Clansman, schooner, from one of the Pacific Islands with guano. To sail at midnight—Mahinapua, for Nelson, Taranaki, and Onehunga. Port Chalmers, August 21. Arrived—Rakaia, irom Waitara ; Omapere, from Oamaru.
Angnst 22, Arrived—Tarawera, from Lytteiton. « Bluff, August 21. Sailed—Alexa, barque, for Auckland.
