THE MARKETS.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following London cable message, dated 26th May :—
" Tallow — Market firmer. Good beef tallow has advanced 3d per cwt. since last report. (Last quotation was 16s 9d per cwt.)
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated Wednesday:—
"Since our last telegram mutton and mixed tallow are unchanged; beef tallow, (in general) is /a shade firmer."
