Sydney, May 25. Mr W. J. Smyth, oil Te Awamutu, New Zealand, wins the third prize, £900, in TattersalTs sweep on the Birthday Cup.

Melbourne, May 25.
The Court has-ordered the sale of *the brig Phyllis, which, on a recent voyage from Kockhampton, had for the third ijime to be provisioned by passing ships.' The proceeds will go to satisfy the crew's claims for arrears of wages, several having obtained verdicts against the owners.'
