CHRISTCHURCH. Thtjbsdav, Maech 12. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., S.M.) Civil, Cases.—ln Hamill v Trott, an application for the rehearing of a case in which judgment had been given,for the defendant, on a claim for £52 163, as commission on the sale of a property, Mr Stringer appeared to oppose; the application was iefused, aDd Mr Stringer was allowed a fee of £1 Is. Judgments went for plaintiffs by default, with coses, in McConnel v Douglas, £5 6s, and Josling v Helfe, £14 19a Bd. Logic v White, claim £3 Iβ 6d, on judgment summons; Mr Cresewell appeared for the creditor. The debtor did not appear, and he was ordered to pay forthwith, or in default to be imprisoned for fourteen daya.
