The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limitedj, have received the following London cable, dated 10th March:—" Wool —Since close of last sales washed merino super., scoured merino super., fine scoured crossbred, and slipe are £d to Id per lb higher. Greasy, washed, and scoured merino medium and inferior are Id per lb higher. Medium and coarse scoured crossbred and scoured crossbred lambs are per lb higher. Other descriptions are unchanged. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers is active. The American demand is limited. Up to date 64,000 bales have been sold. Frozen Meat—Mutton market depressed. Canterbury mutton is worth 3id per lb (last quotation was 3|d per lb") Lamb market quiet."
